AYSO Region 1065 – Regional Commissioner Nominations Now Open

In compliance with AYSO National Rules and Regulations, the Regional Board of Directors of AYSO Region 1065 announces the opening of the nomination period for the position of Regional Commissioner (RC) for a three‑year term.

About the Role

The Regional Commissioner is the chief executive volunteer responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of AYSO Region 1065. This position provides leadership and oversight for all regional programs, volunteers, and activities.

• Time Commitment: Approximately 10–20+ volunteer hours per week
• Seasonal Increases: Hours may increase during Primary and Secondary seasons, meetings, and special events

Eligibility

Candidates must:

• Be a current or former Regional Board member or a registered AYSO volunteer
• Be in good standing with AYSO
• Have the ability and willingness to meet the responsibilities of the role

Nomination & Election Process

• Submit nominations by email to the Nomination Committee Chair (NCC) - Jaime Aguilar
• Following nominations, the Area Director will conduct an election.
• Results will be forwarded to the Section Director and then to the AYSO National Board of Directors for final approval.

Term Information

• Current term ends: April 30, 2026
• New term begins: May 1, 2026

• Voting Members: Eligible Voting Members of the Regional Board
